The Hackney Horror’s House of Horrors
(hereinafter referred to as “the Atelier”)
By accessing our website, browsing our collections, or completing a purchase with the Atelier, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please review them carefully before placing an order.
1. General Conditions
The Atelier reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. All purchases are subject to availability and acceptance by the Atelier.
We may update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms & Conditions at our discretion. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting to our website.
2. Products & Craftsmanship
All pieces are handcrafted, produced in limited runs, or created as custom commissions. Due to the handmade nature of our work, slight variations in size, shape, texture, or finish are inherent and celebrated as part of the design. These variations are not considered defects.
Materials vary by collection and may include hand-formed metal wire, decorative glass elements, appliqué details, sterling silver, and gemstones. Full material descriptions are provided on individual product pages.
3. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in the applicable currency and are subject to change without notice. Taxes, duties, and shipping costs are calculated at checkout where applicable.
Payment must be received in full before orders are processed or shipped.
4. Limited Availability & Final Sales
Due to the limited nature of our releases:
Quantities are intentionally restricted
Once a piece is sold out, it may not be restocked
Availability is not guaranteed
Custom and commissioned pieces are final sale and are not eligible for cancellation once production has begun.
5. Custom & Commissioned Orders
Custom orders are created based on the specifications provided by the customer. By submitting a custom request, you acknowledge that:
Designs are interpreted artistically by the Atelier
Minor deviations from sketches or concepts may occur
Custom pieces cannot be returned or exchanged except as outlined in the Return Policy
6. Care & Intended Use
Each order includes care instructions specific to the materials used. Customers are responsible for following these guidelines.
Failure to adhere to care instructions or use outside of intended wear may compromise the integrity of the piece and void eligibility for returns, repairs, or replacements.
7. Shipping & Risk
Once an order has been shipped, ownership and risk transfer to the customer. The Atelier is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by shipping carriers.
In the event of shipping damage, customers must notify the Atelier promptly and retain all packaging materials for assessment.
8. Marketing Communications & Privacy
By making a purchase or submitting contact information, you consent to receive occasional communications from the Atelier, including updates, announcements, and promotional content.
